WHAT ARE THE DIMITRIA TO YOU?

In the framework of the overall planning of this year’s Dimitria, drawing on borderline 49th event and in view of the anniversary 50th event, Parallaxi is carrying out a study on the way the citizens of Thessaloniki perceive the top historical, cultural and festival institution of the Municipality.

In a series of detailed interviews, based on a representative selected sample of citizens, the level of permeation and influence of the institution on the cultural life of the city will be explored, as will the basic cultural needs of the city and the perception of the public on cultural issues during the current period of financial crisis.

This is the first attempt to record, through research, the trends, views and ideas of the citizens of Thessaloniki on the top cultural event with a festival character, as well as on culture in the city. The results will be presented at the congress.
