OPENING EVENT
The opening event of the 49th Dimitria is an invitation to see Thessaloniki by night, and to selected points on a nighttime trek with visual artwork projections. Accompanied by excellent musicians, lighting projections of visual works bring out hidden aspects of public spaces and renew the visual arts portion of the Dimitria and the city. The nighttime landscape will change and citizens are invited on a preplanned visual and musical walk, which will end at the amphitheatre of the Roman Market for a final celebratory concert.
