Mechanisms, wires, microphones and megaphones, birdsong, the human voice, static, new technologies – synthesizers, computers, interactive equipment and other heterogeneous materials and visual elements – compose the sound objects, sculptures and installations of Bernard Pourrière.
The French artist, the successor of conceptual and minimal art, in his first solo exhibition in Greece, is changing the rules of the game with resourcefulness, humour and sarcasm, and is providing listeners/viewers with the opportunity to take their own journey through the works, with a duration that they choose, often changing them as their body moves.
