Micka loved Anzel, Anzel loved Micka, but loved ended with Anzel’s death. Or looks as if though it has ended. Refusing to succumb to a new life that the environment forces on her, Micka chooses to not allow death to destroy the ideal of eternal love.
A deeply romantic play about the breaking of bountaries and those actions that many would consider extreme, but to others are crystal clear as a way of life.
Despite being written 32 years ago, the play is crucially modern and does not discourage comparisons with cutting – edge contemporary themes. This is a boldly innovative and poetic play by the renowned Slovenian director Jenej Lorenci, a play with many awards and much praise, for both its exceptional delivery, as well as its rich musical ideas.
