Founded by Konstantinos Rigos in 1990, Octana Dance Theatre has been ever since the main creative outlet of the renowned dancer – choreographer who has collaborated with every established cultural institution in Greece (as well as many abroad) and worked with more than 30 directors.
In his latest project, “Dressed Undressed”, two men without identity clad in routinely costumes get rid of their clothes in order to become two naked bodies trapped in an inescapable room.
The space, empty of objects, underscores the surrounding emptiness, one that emphasizes their obligatory commitment.
The protagonists, Tasos Karahalios and Giannis Nikolaidis, descendants of Cain and Abel, inheritors of the ancestral sin, fight to establish their existence in a universe that cannot include both of them.
